As part of their outpatient clinic experience, the resident will participate in various procedures during their residency at CHRH, º£½Ç½ûÇø Clinic, and VA rotation. The resident will be given gradual responsibility based on their competency.

The procedures include:

  • EMG/NCS
  • Neurolytic injections for spasticity, dystonia, and sialorrhea
  • Ultrasound guidance for procedure
  • Joint injections
  • Trigger point injections
  • Refill and maintenance of Intrathecal Baclofen Pump
  • Programming and maintenance of Deep Brain Stimulators for patients with dystonia, essential tremor and Parkinson's Disease
  • Wound care which includes debridement and wound vac placement
