William Stoops, PhD, was named the 2024 Researcher of the Year by the (KPA) in recognition of his service to psychology and outstanding academic record.
Dr. Stoops is the William R. Willard Professor of Behavioral Science, with joint appointments in the departments of psychiatry (College of Medicine) and psychology (College of Arts and Sciences). He is also a faculty member of º£½Ç½ûÇøâ€™s Center on Drug and Alcohol Research and serves as the associate director for clinical research of the º£½Ç½ûÇø Substance Use Priority Research Area and director of the º£½Ç½ûÇø Clinical Research Support Office.
Dr. Stoops is an alumnus of the º£½Ç½ûÇø College of Arts and Sciences and has served on the º£½Ç½ûÇø College of Medicine faculty for 17 years. Congratulations on this recognition, Dr. Stoops!
