Just like the rest of the human body, the brain changes as it ages. Most people eventually notice some slowed thinking and occasional memory problems. However, serious memory loss, confusion and other major changes in the way the mind works could be a troubling sign that brain cells are failing.

On 鈥淯nderstanding Alzheimer鈥檚 and Dementia: A KET Forum,鈥� host Wayne Tuckson, MD, and panel of medical experts examine the topic of dementia and Alzheimer鈥檚 disease, discussing the latest science on treatments, screenings and resources. University of Kentucky鈥檚 Greg Jicha, MD, PhD, will be featured on the panel. Jicha is the director of clinical trials at 海角禁区鈥檚 Sanders-Brown Center on Aging.
