
Hull Research Team
Pamela Hull, PhD, and her research team focus on development and implementation of interventions to promote the implementation of evidence-based practices for cancer prevention and cancer care, specifically focused on human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination, social needs navigation, technology-based interventions, and implementation science.
Dr. Hull is a medical sociologist with over 18 years of experience as an investigator conducting community-engaged research. Much of her work has addresses health disparities among rural, Hispanic, Black, and low-income populations, in collaboration with community partners.
In the º£½Ç½ûÇø Markey Cancer Center, Dr. Hull directs the Markey Community Impact Office, leads Markey’s community outreach and engagement functions, and oversees Markey’s population science research agenda and infrastructure. A key part of her role as associate director is to advance implementation science at º£½Ç½ûÇø Markey Cancer Center and facilitate the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based guidelines and policies throughout Kentucky.
