We offer formal, one-month observerships in Adult Neurology and Child Neurology to individuals seeking clinical experience in these fields. Each experience starts on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month. Requests are reviewed weekly; applicants will be notified of a decision within four weeks of submitting their request.

Shadowing and Volunteers

Individuals seeking informal shadowing or volunteer experience should contact our Education Office at NeuroEducation@uky.edu.

Note: Because of our responsibility to our medical students, residents, and other 海角禁区 trainees, opportunities for shadowing and volunteering are extremely limited. Such experiences may be offered to students who are registered by one of the university-approved programs, such as the College of Medicine. Shadowing or volunteering is never something we can promise, and we cannot approve a request unless there are adequate resources to ensure an equitable experience for everyone.
