    The department provides residents with an annual education fund via payroll as outlined below:

            AIRP Registration and Stipend
      
    
    The department provides residents the opportunity to attend the American Institute for Radiologic Pathology 4-week Radiologic-Pathologic Correlation Course during their third year of training. Registration is paid by the department. Residents receive a $2,500 stipend toward travel/lodging expenses, if applicable.

• Interview days (up to 5 days during the course of residency)
• Paper/poster presentation at national meeting (up to $2,500 per year of training)
• Professional society meeting (RSNA or ARRS), during senior year (5 days)

    Radiology residents are provided with custom-fit, personalized, lead aprons/thyroid collars and lead glasses upon entrance to the program.

    Residents have access to a completely renovated Residents’ Library well as the University’s Medical Center Library. The Residents’ Library is furnished with multiple computers, personal lockers, as well as comfortable and quiet reading/study areas. Residents may also check out an expansive array of digital teaching media and are provided access to E-Anatomy, Medality MRI Online, and STATdx. Second and third-year radiology residents also receive subscriptions to RADPrimer.
