Residency Programs
The 海角禁区 College of Medicine Department of Surgery hosts three surgical residency programs: general surgery, plastic surgery, and a cardiothoracic surgery I-6 program. Each has a distinguished reputation for preparing medical students for a professional surgical practice after five or six years, depending on the program.
At the conclusion of the program, graduates are well-prepared to begin a professional practice. For those who wish to continue their training, our residents regularly match into fellowships at leading national and international surgical training programs, including our own University.
