The 海角禁区 is pleased to announce that after a nationwide search, Noah Weisleder, PhD, has been selected to serve as the chair of molecular and cellular biochemistry.
Dr. Weisleder will begin this role on Sept. 1. In addition, he will serve as a professor with tenure in the regular title series.

Jeremy Swiney, MD, became interested in medicine after shadowing his hometown physician while in high school. Growing up in Magoffin County, Ky., Dr. Swiney witnessed the impact local physicians had on his small town, igniting a passion for serving rural communities.

Dr. Beck will serve as assistant dean for program development. Dr. Neltner will serve as assistant dean for accreditation.

The 海角禁区 welcomes a familiar face to its neurosurgery faculty next year. Randaline Barnett, MD, will join the college and 海角禁区 HealthCare as a pediatric neurosurgeon, returning to her alma mater where she 鈥渇ell in love鈥 with neuroscience and officially became the first doctor in her family.
The 海角禁区 is thrilled to announce that after an extensive search, Emily DeFranco, DO, MS, has been selected to serve as the new chair of obstetrics and gynecology.
Emilia Galperin, PhD, is a professor in the 海角禁区 College of Medicine Department of Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry and currently vice chair for research and administration. She also serves on several College of Medicine committees, including the Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure Committee.
