In February, 海角禁区 Libraries  that Ezproxy service would be required for both on-campus and off-campus access to most 海角禁区 Libraries licensed resources.  Current 海角禁区 faculty, students, and staff access to a licensed resource will need to be made initially through a 海角禁区 Libraries service: 1) the 海角禁区 Libraries web site , 2) InfoKat Discovery , 3) Research Guides , or 4) a 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 button.  This action ensures continued access to a broad selection of academic and scholarly electronic resources.  This change became necessary due to increased attempts to harvest information in breach of electronic resource licenses and because of 海角禁区鈥檚 expanding information technology environment.

Access to electronic resources is provided through the following 海角禁区 LIbraries resources:

Libraries web site:

InfoKat Discovery:

Research Guides:

If presented with the 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 button you may click that resource to gain access to a particular article, ejournal or ebook title in a variety of ways through 鈥 most notably when the title is not available from the original publisher, but is available via an alternative purchased collection.  You may see the 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 link or button on many of 海角禁区 Libraries databases when starting from one of the above resources.

PubMed, for example, may be found on the site by clicking the 鈥淒ATABASES鈥 tab, searching for PubMed, and then clicking the 鈥鈥 option.   This allows searching PubMed with the setup configured specifically for 海角禁区 content.  It will display the 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 link which provides access specific to 海角禁区 while at the same time permitting the direct PubMed publisher link to function through Ezproxy.

If the PubMed publisher link is not present or does not function, click on the 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 link.  The 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 link will direct you to .  InfoKat Discovery may provide additional access options for full text.  If multiple access links are presented, be sure to first select a publisher statement whose dates of coverage include the date of your citation.

Other databases 鈥 like , , , , etc. may also be accessed here and configured to use the 鈥淰iew Now @ 海角禁区鈥 button.

After accessing a frequently-used database or journal as described above, one may save it to favorites or bookmarks for quick access in the future without going through the Libraries sites.
