Transforming Patient Care Through Expertise and Innovation

Gain hands-on experience with a multidisciplinary team treating complex cancers and blood disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. Our specialized programs, including adolescent and young adult oncology, neuro-oncology, cancer predisposition, and cancer survivorship, provide comprehensive care with a strong emphasis on long-term outcomes, oncofertility, and neuro-endocrinology. Regular multidisciplinary conferences foster collaboration across specialties, enhancing both patient care and professional development. Additionally, our Hemophilia Treatment Center, Sickle Cell Program, Vascular Malformations Clinic, and Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Clinic offer robust expertise in hematologic disorders, ensuring comprehensive practice and training opportunities.

Through Project Inherited Cancer Risk, every newly diagnosed pediatric cancer patient at Kentucky Children’s Hospital receives DNA sequencing to screen for 150+ inherited cancer genes. This initiative helps uncover genetic risks, guiding personalized treatment and advancing cancer research.
