PA Neonatology Residency
The residency is an intensive 12 month training program and takes two-to-three PAs per year. We have been preparing PAs for a career in neonatology since 2005, and 100% of our graduates have been employed in a NICU upon completion of the program.

Prerequisites
- The applicant must be a graduate of, or currently a second year student in, an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
- The applicant must have passed, or be eligible for the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Kentucky Children鈥檚 Hospital is a 70 bed, level IV facility that provides care to critically ill newborns from all across central and eastern Kentucky.
